Terms & conditions

These terms apply to every order placed with The Order of Service Co., a trading name of Mint Marketing Production Ltd.

Last updated 15 September 2026

1. About us

The Order of Service Co. is operated by Mint Marketing Production Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 14103770. Registered office: 6-8 Great Eastern Street, London, England, EC2A 3NT. We serve families and funeral directors across the UK. You can contact us at hello@toosc.co.uk.

2. Placing an order

A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. Retail customers pay in full at checkout. Funeral directors with an approved trade account are invoiced monthly under their agreed pricing.

You are responsible for the accuracy of all content you supply — names, dates, wording, images and the running order. We print exactly what you approve at the final review step.

3. Proofing and approval

The on-screen preview and downloadable PDF are your proof. Once you approve and submit, your artwork is sent to our print partner and can no longer be changed. Screen colours are an approximation; printed colour may vary slightly.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown per order (booklet quantity and page count). Printed Orders of Service and memorial books are zero-rated for VAT; the Memories & Tributes page is standard-rated at 20%, with VAT included in the price shown. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Trade invoices are payable within 7 days of issue unless agreed otherwise in writing.

5. Printing and delivery

Booklets are A5, printed on 150gsm silk inners with a 350gsm silk cover, saddle-stitched in multiples of four pages. Prices include production and tracked UK delivery in 2 working days from artwork approval, subject to our print partner's schedule. We deliver to any UK address, including Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and we are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.

6. Cancellation and returns

Booklets are personalised to your specification, so the standard 14-day right to cancel does not apply once production begins. See our returns and cancellations policy for the full position, including faulty or misprinted work.

7. Your content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of the photographs and words you upload, and you confirm you have the right to use them. You grant us a licence to reproduce that content solely to fulfil your order. Our templates, designs and website remain our property.

We may refuse any order containing unlawful, infringing or offensive material.

8. Liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded under English law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
